We continue to see strength week by week in the market, with more new listings and pending sales. Consumers are on average earning higher incomes, and there is a greater trust in job security compared to last year. However, first-time home buyers would benefit from more inventory.
In the Houston region, for the week ending March 20:
• New Listings increased 13.5% to 2,605
• Pending Sales increased 10.9% to 1,977
• Closed Sales decreased 6.9% to 1,328
